Entry Requirements

  • Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with minimum 2 Principal passes including Mathematics (average B- or CGPA 2.67); OR
  • Pass A-Level with minimum 2 passes in relevant subjects (min 14 points – BC/DD); OR
  • Pass South Australian Matriculation (SAM)/ Australian Matriculation Programme (AUSMAT)/ High School Certificate (HSC) with Grade B in relevant subjects (ATAR 70/TER 70); OR
  • Pass Canadian Pre-University (CPU) with average 70% in 6 relevant subjects; OR
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) with at least 24 points including 5 points in Mathematics; OR
  • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with Grade B in 5 relevant subjects including Mathematics; OR
  • Pass Foundation programmes from Manipal International University with minimum CGPA of 2.0; OR
  • Pass Foundation programmes in related fields from other higher education institutions with minimum CGPA of 2.5; OR
  • Pass Matriculation Certificate, Ministry of Education in related fields with minimum CGPA of 2.5; OR
  • Pass Diploma in related fields from any other higher education institutions with minimum CGPA of 2.5; OR
  • Other equivalent qualification recognised by Malaysian Government; AND
  • Pass SPM or O-Level or equivalents with Credit in Mathematics

English Language Requirement

  • Credit in SPM English/English 1119, or
  • IELTS score of 4.0, or
  • TOEFL score of 450 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based) or 79 (iBT); or
  • Grade B in UEC English Language
  • Band 2 in MUET
  • Band 6 in the English Enhancement Program (held during Semester 1 at MIU)
