Because of key relationships with companies and experienced professionals, the Full Sail campus has been host to everything from music video shoots to gaming competitions – all providing unique opportunities for our students. Full Sail University provides various facilities on campus as stated below:
Living in Winter Park, a suburb of Orlando, gives you both the conveniences of city life with the unique shops, restaurants, and culture of a smaller town. From concert venues to comic book stores, to museums, to malls and outlets, there is plenty to do no matter how you like to spend your free time.
If you enjoy experiencing the outdoors, Florida is known for its warm climate year-round - and there are many surrounding places to enjoy it.
There are beautiful beaches on the east and west coasts, nature parks offering hiking and biking trails, rivers and lakes as well as the attractions and amusement parks that the area is known for.
Full Sail does not offer on-campus housing or dorms. However, the Housing Resources department has established relationships with these apartment communities and can provide you with information about your options.
Full Sail’s mission is to provide students with an innovative style of education, delivered by a staff of dedicated individuals, that addresses the career opportunities available in an ever-growing, constantly evolving industry. We do this by developing unique curricula that combine elements of creativity, art, business and life skills, technical prowess, and academic achievement. Our education is delivered via immersive teaching methods, both in Full Sail’s real-world production studios and classrooms, as well as through our online learning environment.
Every one of our degree programs is designed to provide students with knowledge and real-world experience that will help them realize their career goals in the entertainment and media industry.
Our degree programs are offered at an accelerated pace, which allows you to graduate in approximately half the time of traditional bachelor’s program.
Courses are designed in a specific “building block” order, so your instructors understand where you are in your educational journey.
Our programs contain more credit hours per month than traditional universities, helping you prepare for 24/7 nature of your industry.
Each of our campus and online degree programs has a set schedule of courses that each student takes in the same order. First, there are foundational courses, then you refine your skills based on your career goals.
Your program’s predetermined course order also means there’s no registration stress or worry about course availability.
