The Foundation in Science is a 1-year, full-time pre-university programme with intakes in February, July, and September. It covers Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in the first semester, followed by Basic Anatomy & Physiology, Basic Genetics, and Health Science in the second — designed as a direct pathway into MSU's Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, and other science-related bachelor's degrees. Entry requires a pass in SPM/SPMV with at least 4 B's in Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (for Medicine/Pharmacy/Dentistry track), or 5 credits including Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics, Science, Chemistry and Biology plus a pass in English (for other science tracks).
